Type and Image Posters Research

As I am looking at couples in films, taking advantage of the fact that journalists exaggerate the truth, I wanted my posters to look romantic and also showy. As if the posters were fiction but also relate love. So I started to look at film posters, looking at the colours and layout. I also looked at the definition of romance so that I can see what I am working with, and what I am looking for.

Definition of romance;
a. A love affair.
b. Ardent emotional attachment or involvement between people; love: They kept the romance alive in their marriage for 35 years.
c. A strong, sometimes short-lived attachment, fascination, or enthusiasm for something: a childhood romance with the sea.

Initial research;
Finding these website and images shows that it is a common concept that the newspapers and magazines are lying, or exaggerating the truth.

Minimal posters and film posters;
Simple and effective.
Colours used are appropriate to blood and vampire, clever image and double meaning.
Showing love and romance in the colours used, also double meaning in the image, the death brought from red apple, but also love shows through.
Relevant colours used, keeping a simple pallet make the design more effective.

The minimal aspect of these posters is amazing whilst giving maximum impact, this is something I am looking to do in my designs.
